Export schedule to a Revit template

I am sure this has been asked before but I didn't find anything on it. I have schedules from a project we are working on formatted the way we want them and was wondering the best way to copy / export them to a revit template so we don’t have to add parameters and reformat the schedules again for the next project. I am new to revit and any input would be greatly appreciated. Incase it matters we are using revit 2009.

Did you try to use the File>Insert From File>Views?

You can select schedules.
