Copy/Paste

When you copy paste something from one view to another, i.e. wall section to callout... the components knows where it's original location is (and shows you that during the paste), but you can't snap to that same location...

Any thoughts other than Paste Aligned?

Hey there,
Maybe I am missing something....but, I usually do a "paste align". That way, I can also choose multiple views to paste into.

Ok - In my initial post, I meant to say paste aligned but I mis-spoke and said paste special... I know you can accomplish that using "Paste Aligned"...

I used <CTR> C and <CTR> V a ton for copy/paste, and it just seemed logical that I could do it that way... Thought mabe there was a trick that I was missing.

If you type 0 it should pop into place, as you can edit the temp dims pulling from the original location.

I actually read that solution on Steve Staffords blog this morning, but I don't get that option... No activate dimensions on the options bar either.
