Hi All,
I have had to add some model lines to idicate panel break-ups on one of my elevations. They are drawn on the same plane as the wall.
They all look good in the model, however, when i print to dwf, the lines do not show.
Anyone have any idea's why this is occuring?

Are you running the "Web Update 1" version of Revit 2009? The first release of Revit 2009 had an issue like (printing to a printer not DWF) this, but it is fixed in the current version. We don't use DWF so I am not sure if this is the same bug, but we had a similar issue with regular printing.

Yep, using the newest version.
I think the work plane was located on the rear face of the wall, it seems to be behaving properly now.
Thanks for the input though.
It is appreciated.

I'm glad you got it fixed.
Another approach is to split the face and use the linework tool. (just for future reference)

I seem to be having a similar problem that bthompson.99578 may already have experienced. When I print floor plans (HVAC/Plbg), I loose random sections of ductwork, fittings, air devices, pipe, etc. Everything looks fine onscreen, not on print preview or hard copy. My views are set for hidden line and coarse to medium.
Updated to latest build (20080602_1900). Nothing helped.
Thanks,
Matt

Try using Raster instead of Vector graphics setting in DWF print dialog box.
Also try setting quality to Presentation. We had some issues of certain items not showing up, which these settings fixed. File size will increase as a result of higher quality.
Cheers....

Thanks Cliff.
But actually the problem is when printing from Revit to our plotter, not to DWF. I did try your settings, but the print preview still shows missing "pieces".
I have read some post which say to go over the duct, pipe, etc. with model lines, in the floor plan. I'm thinking this will fix the print, but what about the time it would take, plus the extra elements that would be floating around?
I've re-configured my computer based on the latest white paper about optimizing your computer system for Revit to see if that would help...nope.
Any other suggestions?

Try printing to PDF--see if everything shows up. If so, then try printing the PDF to plotter.
Sometimes Revit does weird things with edges of cylindrical objects--are the ducts round?
cheers.....

Weird things?....I agree.
I do have round duct, but this is affecting other elements like air devices.
Just tried the pdf with the raster/presentation setting....Some duct came back - other "pieces" went away - A few other air devices showed up, but still many missing...weird indeed!
I do appreciate your help. Got anything else?
FOUND IT! HAS TO DO WITH THE HIDDEN LINE INSIDE/OUTSIDE GAP SETTING UNDER THE MECH SETTINGS. THE SMALLER THE SIZE FIXES THE LINES (FOR SOME REASON).
