Leader LInes

I am pretty sure we cant do this, but here goes. I want the leader line to be able to start closer to the text than what it is. Its not bad on 1/4,1/8 but getting up to 6" looks really far away. I suppose the only work around is to bring in a arrow and draw lines to it? Is this right? Thanks

You are right. Texts and their leader lines are system families and you can't change it.
