loose dims on duplicate view

made a duplicate view of a floor plan
but the dimensions I had on the original just disappeared...

doing this as an option on the plan
know Revit has an option feature...but it was quite illusive to work with

Did you do Duplicate with Detailing? That should duplicate everything, including view-specific items.

use "duplicate view with detailing"
