Hallow Polylines

In model drawing a polyline with width shows fine.
When this drawing is xrefed into another drawing, the polyline is fine in modelspace, however when I switch to paperspace it shows hollow.
Please any comments

Check the display mode of the viewport - it needs to be 2dwireframe.
Also, it needs to be a plan, not oblique, view on the polyline.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Have checked the viewport - it is set to 2dwireframe.
I have also checked the polyline for z values - all O.K.
So, unfortunatley, still at a loss.

Just to be sure - did you use the PLAN command?
Oh, and is displaymode(visualstyles) set to 2dwireframe in modelspace too?

Thanks John B, all those were checked and O.K.

As a last ditch effort, I started a new drawing, xrefed in the same files and everything was O.K. in Paperspace. Go figure!!!
