Points / Point Groups

My preception of points was that their purpose was to correct the impurities of the TIN surface. I've been adding points with elevations where my grading spots shots are going. I have seen no reaction from the surface acknowledging that points exist in the drawing. What needs to be done for this to happen?

Are you adding points into the drawing, or into the surface?
If it's going into the surface, make sure the point group is referenced in the surface, if not, then nothing will come of it. Also, be sure to rebuild your surface, even if you have it set to auto-rebuild, sometimes, it still needs to be done manually.
If it's being inserted into the surface (under Definitions in your ToolSpace for your surface, right click on the Edits line and choose Add Points to Surface) and not showing up, then something is seriously wrong.
