revit architecture with structural analysis

with revit architecture 2008 can i use this program to do structural analysis or do i need another program?

No with Revit Architecture, neither with Revit Structure, to do structural analysis, you could use Robot Millenium wich work bidirecionaly with Revit Structure, or other 3ª party aplication that could receive the analysis model from revit Structure.

it dependes a little from where you are working and what software you are used to.

the whats the difference between structure and architecture if structure can`t do structural analysis?

Architecture has tools specific to architects, such as site tools. Structure has tools specific to Structural engineers.
