Edit a tag, and change it to the numbering you want. Revit will then begin numbering from what you change. It is numbering 6-1 because that was the last tag entered at some point, possibly in template?

I'm having a hard time understanding what you're asking. You said there is only one door tag loaded but it's tagging doors with different types of tags? I don't see how that is possible. Can you post a screenshot, or perhaps even a small piece of the Revit file for us to examine?

The tag is just a placeholder for information. The tag info that fills out the door tag is coming from the door itself. If you start numbering doors 1, 2, 3....then it will continue that way. If you start numbering doors 6-1, 6-2, 6-3, then Revit will continue that naming convention for you. They aren't separate tag styles....its the information you are feeding Revit.
