View Full Version : Beam not showing up...

When i add a beam in my floor plan i get a message saying that is it not visable and to check my VG settings. Well everything is turned on, why can i not see my structural beams in plan view????

John, check your veiw settings and your your view template settings also check the veiw range. if you inserted your beam on a floor plan then placed it from that level it my be to high or low. you will want to check it in 3d to see where it is exactly then you can manuipulate it from there.

Most likely the beams are modeled beyond the view range of the plan. Go into your View properties and change the view range's depth. Just make sure you really want to see them in your plans. If not you might want to make a beam plan with the adjusted view depth to work in temporarily.

Hi, after doing that it still not appears....
do you know what the problem is?
