Hi,

I just set up navis to auto update the files thanks to RobertB. The only problem I have is when I'm merging a dwg with MEP pipes systems it doesn't draw the Ts and the valves are in wire frame. Now when I merge them in as NWCs and creating the NWCs from AutoCAD using the NWCOUT command I don't have this problem. Does it sound like I'm missing an object enabler? Or is it some thing I have set wrong in my global options?

This is how I set up my NWF: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=85548

thanks

Yeah, it sounds like the OE(s) are missing, or that you don't have the right options set in NavisWorks.

You are using what version of MEP?
Have you followed the setup in the sticky thread on this forum?

I'm using MEP 2008 will the 2009 enablers work with 08? I believe we're supposed to be making the switch to '09 in the next week or so.

What's weird is that I have two different piping dwgs I'm merging and one is 2d the other is 3d. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Are these the 2008 enablers I need: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=11905771&linkID=10382101

So if you used AutoCAD MEP 2008, you need the 2008 OEs. And you need to make sure you specify 2008 DWG files in NavisWorks.

That TS does point to the correct enablers.
