I'll bet you aleady know what I want: I need to see the room number at the beginning and end (left and right, if you will) of my room schedule.
The last time I went through this, I cheated it on the sheet. But this doesn't help when I am in the schedule view filling out fields.
Can this be done?

Use a calculated value and simply put "Number" in the formula field. Be sure to rename it on the Schedule.

I guess I should have been more clear: I want Revit to do the work for me.

Kewl....calculated view works... It wouldn't accept Number by itself, I had to use (Number) instead and it filled everything in.

By creating a calculated value (which just euqals whatever the Room Number parameter is set to), you now have another Parameter to select and add to the schedule. You can create the calculated parameter right the the dialog box where you add parameters to the shcedule.

Once this is setup Revit will do all the work.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. With this method you are only making one field in the schedule, not a parameter for the rooms.

Those calculated values can do quite a bit for you....without having to add the information to families...
