Andrew,

After reading all that it just confused the issue further.

Just make a curtain panel with the end side where it is to join at the silicon smaller by half of the wall width. That way you drag the end of the curtain wall completely through the corner of the wall (this cuts the corner of the wall out) and replace the end panel that is half the wall width smaller. I hope that makes sense. I have included the family and an example file. Open the family to understand it all
