structural beams....

When i'm in my floorp lans i want to add the structural beams so that i can see them in section correctly. However everytime i add one i get the error message saying that it isn't visable in this view. But in my VG everything is turned on including all structural. What am i missing here????

Check view depth. If your beams are located beneath your floor level, and the view depth goes down to the level, I don't you'll be able to see the beams. Likewise, the beams may be above your view level. Lastly, structural beams show up as single lines in coarse view, so change your view to medium or fine.
