I am working on a room schedule and trying to define the size of a Master bathroom (with toilet room and shower), but when I select the Room tool, Revit automatically define the area without toilet room and shower. Is there any way to include everything?

Another issue: How can I get color in a set of stairs, for a finish floor for example? Every time that I select the Room tool, Revit does apply color and gives a message of "volume ovelap". I want the finish floor stair to be of a certain color previously defined.

Thanks.

This is the only way that I know how to do it........................

Remove the auto-created room and then go draw room seperation lines that INCLUDE the toilet room and shower area. Then place a room tag!

This is not the best method BUT since auto placing the room does not go into a placed shower or area that is defined by walls and doors or windows it is a workaround. I would be interested to know how other have done this. I normally define the rooms seperately and total the square footage for the bathrooms.

You should be able to just select the Wall that you don't want & changes its Instance properties to "Not room Bounding" then the bedroom shoul spill into the other room
