I just opened a project that contains only drafting elements and up popped the dialog.

Took me back a bit.

It looks to me like it could be a note that a programmer put in there to remind himself to create a warning and it never got created. Just a guess...

I had received this message as well during a training seminar for Revit MEP 2009. The software engineer had no clue.This was at an Autodesk Training facility.

Still have the journal file for that session? Might take a look to see what else it says. What Steve says is probably true, a trapped error that didn't get its proper dialog message. Looking at your screen capture it looks like a lot of little line segments and Revit usually warns when many line segments are used as a performance issue. It is probably related to that.

I do not have the journal session from that message.

Why not? Revit writes to a journal file for the duration that the program is running. It doesn't create separate ones for every file.

I've got one person who was getting that message almost all the time. Different projects, too.

I sent it off to Support & here's the "answer" I got:
Autodesk Subscription Hi David, I’ve never seen such an error. Is it file specific? If not I would suggest a reinstall. If it is could you send me the file? Best Regards,
We finally just checked the "Don't Show me again" box & let it be.

Weird message...

From Wikipedia (For Laughs)
Bloat is a medical condition in which the stomach becomes overstretched by excessive gas content.

I guess the license file needs to pass some gas.

Joking aside, I would contact your reseller. It does appear to be while the license is being checked but you have it set to standalone which typically has less issues than networked license.

We have one guy out of the 4 that have opened the file getting it.
It doesn't seem like a big deal, but we don't want it becoming a big deal down the road...

It looks to me like you have drafting views with many small lines or some element with lots of lines, it looked like some sort of foliage pattern behind the warning. Maybe it has to do with that.

A guy here at our office would get that message on every file he opened from his computer, then I enabled the 3GB switch and seemed to heal the problem (for now).
