Is there a way to add a link to views that are on a sheet so that when I create a DWF file, the hyperlink will open up the actual view file that it came from? Currently it's only making a hyperlink to call outs used in the views.
I hate to compare this to ACA, but I was able to do it before. It works great when you have standard details. You simply make a DWF file of the sheet and when a person views the DWF file they can select the hyperlink and the actual detail will open in ACA. I'd like to do the same in Revit.
Any suggestions on how I can achieve this? I really don't want to make this into a PDF file.
Thanks,
Aracely.

To clarify, you would be navigating within a DWF file, and by clicking on a section head (for example) it would open the Revit file and take you to that section? This functionality should work within the DWF file itself, in that it will take you to that section view in the DWF; however, it will not open the original Revit file.
This functionality exists within Revit, so I'm also curious as to the use case for DWF-to-Revit hyperlinks. If your users already have the Revit model, why wouldn't they just be cruising around within Revit? DWF is designed to be used in collaboration with others who might not have the original BIM data.

Yes it's easier to open the file, but if you have 300 Standard Details in one file it's easier to open the DWF file to search for the detail you want to use in your new project and it will be ideal if I can just click on the hyperlink to open that particular detail.
The name of the detail on the sheet, Title Name, is not the same as the drafting view name, for example the detail on the sheet can be called "1 Hour Partition" but the actual detail drafting view will be called SD-G01-001. So if I have a sheet with 24 details I don't know the name of the drafting view that I'd like to copy/transfer over to the new project.
Perhaps there is a way to add a parameter on the view title that keeps the view name and title names. I have tried to include this in the past, but as soon as I add a title name the view name parameter changes to the title name. If anyone has been able to achieve this, then please let me know how to do this.
Why am I using DWF to do this if we already have the Revit file? I really hadn't put some thought into this. I guess I was stuck in the "I did it before in ACA so let's keep on doing it" mode. If I can get the name of the view name to appear on the sheet along with the title name then I don't kneed to make my sheets into a DWF file. the users will be able to easily find the detail that they need to transfer over to their new project.
