I created a parametric tilt-up concrete panel using generic model family template. I dont think there is any way to create such parametric family under system's "wall" family editor.
In generic model family editor, there is no option to such family as "wall" (you can save to other category such as window, door, etc). So I have to leave the family as generic model family. Is there any way to convert generic model family into "wall" category so it can be organized in schedule? And in schedule view, there's also no option for "generic model". How can I put generic model in project into schedule? Many thanks in advance!

this may help
make the wall you want with openings and all as an in place family
while in the family editor save as group
save group out as .rfa
open new rfa constrain and put on parameters
save and load into project
it will not come up on the wall tab but under the Family browser
they schedule but don't host doors or windows
however you can nest Doors made as generic model with a void cut then changed to Door Family, into the wall family and set to shared so everything will schedule right.

Thank you very much for quick reply of my question.
I created a in-place wall family using extrusion tool in rvt file. I canet figure out what you mentioned "make the wall you want with openings and all as an in place family
while in the family editor save as group
save group out as .rfa"
Can you explain it more in detail how to save to group and then save into .rfa?
thanks again.
By the way, I'm in Melbourne. G'day mate.

No Worries forgive my Cryptic lazy English
when in the Family Editor to make it simple just make a Solid Extrution
select it and Make it a Group
After it is a Group While Still In the Family Editor in your Project Browser
go to Groups(Model) right click on the Group you just made and click Save Group as .rfa
now you have a Wall Family
you can now open the File as a Family and delete what you have done and use Solid form to make your Wall.
hope it gets you on the way
