Summary: Additional functionality of the offset command, allowing off-setted objects to match an existing object.
Description: I would like the Offset command to be expanded to allow the selection of an existing object as the target properties for the new off-setted objects. Similar to the match properties command. For example if you select nothing (i.e. pick blank space) the new objects will be placed on the current layer, with color and linetype as bylayer. If you select an existing object the new objects will have the same color, linetype and ltscale as the existing object.
How Used: This is how we have had our offset command configured for many years and I believe it is a very versatile, flexible and logical way.
Feature Affinity: Offset
