i'll be honest, been battling a cold and my head isn't in it. i feel there's a setting somewhere for this and i just can't seem to think of it.
when i export our drawings to DWG, my families are going to the right layers, but they're being renamed, and oddly so.
for example, i have "Desk: 60" x 30"" in revit, when exported it becomes "Desk 30" x 60_1-1Level1" and the EXACT same family mirrored over becomes "Desk 30" x 60_1-5Level1"
so, my problem is that 1 family can sometimes be given the same name, and other times it changes the names based on the numbering. it's really annoying for our consultants who are trying to do quantity take-offs that we either haven't supplied or aren't responsible of doing.
Is there a setting for this that i'm either a) missing or b) not remembering??
