Panoramic view?

Hello there,
I wanted to know when we create a panaromic view it does not show me the file extn .pan. i can see the extn in 5.1 but not in 6.1
What could be the problem,

In 6.1, the method to make a .pan file changed.

First, go to a camera view that you want to render as a .pan file.

After setting the scene up, pick the "Raytrace" command. Look at the options bar above, and under "type" select "spherical".

Push the "go" button on the right side of the option bar to start the raytrace.

Once the raytrace completes, select "Export Image" on the design bar. In the file dialog that pops up, you'll be given the choice of file types .ivr or .pan. Select the .pan file type and pick save.

Oh its wonderful creating the panoromic views.I just wanted to know to download the panaromic viewer which site do we have to go to and download..

I've attached the Imove viewer. It's a freeware one that Revit used to recommend for .pan files when they introduced panoramic views.

Imove has seemed to got into a different line of work, and no longer offer the viewer at their web site.

Hopefully the freeware license hasn't changed...

Has anyone got a good example of a Panoramic file they'd like to post?? would like to see if its a method worth pursuing......

Place the camera in the center of the space & point it at any wall. When rendered as a .pan file, the camera captures everything spherically.

I downloaded the viewer file u gave ,Thanx again to u solving the queries we keep asking.I really appreciate ur support in helping the users to use revit more efficiently.
Its really fun working on revit once u get a complete hand on it.
Oh wow the sample panoramic view is simply gr888888.Thanx for sharing it with us.
Looking forward for the same kind of support always from ur side.
