Wall Rubber Base

Is there a way to install wall base by selecting the Perimeter of the room....Instead of picking the entire wall. This is killing me. I had to go into individual rooms and install the bases rather then just picking the room and be done with it.
Or is there a simple trick somewhere that I don;t know about?

I prefer to attach base trim as a floor edge sweep. We put in finish floors as separate objects. Using a floor edge sweep can be done very quickly.

The wall sweep tool is just way too fussy to use easily for interior wall trim...

we do that too. It's kind of a bummer that it doesn't break at doors automatically (or casework) but it's not that hard to break.

Just use the split tool on the sketch for the floor. Then you have individual segments for the sweeps.
