We are having issues with some of our walls not cleaning up around windows.

I have attached a couple of pictures, one is of a wall that works just fine, but the other shows that the furring is joined and shows the split where the window is, but it is not cleaning up.

Thanks

Are you using two different walls (I mean, a different wall for the furring)? If yes, use the Join Geometry tool and join both the main wall and the furring wall together. This will make the window cut both walls.

yes we are using 2 different walls, but thats what we are doing. Thw furring shows as joined when you select it, but you can still see the furring in front of the window. This does not show up everywhere just random walls here and there

Then try checking these:

- if there's nothing wrong with the window height
- if there's nothing wrong with the view range
- if there's no plane regions applied to that region

All good on those. And i have a correction to make, we can not recreate this to work at all now.

Check that:

If i make a new wall, and re draw the window and the furring then it will work (same model, just off to the side. But the building itself, no good, wont work

Don't know if this will help, but you might try selecting the window and changing it's host to the furring wall, and then back to the main wall.

Another idea: is the main wall split somehow vertically and you think you have joined the furring wall to it, but maybe it is only joined to the top half or bottom half of the main wall?

Ill check that out, but i think our issue lies with the way we have done some of our demo work. Ill play with it tomorrow and see how thing go.

Still having issues with this. I can confirm that the issue is because of the phasing of our demo work.

I solved the issue.

The infill element needs to be joined with the furring wall. A very tedious task IMO, but it will work fine after that.
