The issue with the Revit plywood fill patterns is starting to be a real pain in the a$$. After playing around with this way to much I am right back where I started from. The plywood pattern only look acceptable (notice I didn’t say correct) in cut sections for vertical and horizontal elements. But sloped elements like roofs are a different story. I my recent project I have to place a detail component on top of the roof sheathing layer in the Revit roof in every wall section. This has been a real pain in the butt. We went to Revit to avoid this type of thing. Has anyone found a solution to this?
Also, I downloaded this plywood detail components a while back and it works great for details scaled 1-1/2” or higher. But any scale smaller and it prints solid. Does anyone have a plywood hatch patter similar to this that I could edit? I would like to create a similar pattern with fewer horizontal lines and the diagonal slashed spaced further apart so it will read at smaller scales.
And one last question. Is it possible to extract / export a filled region pattern to a txt file or PAT file. I know how to bring PAT files into Revit, but can you go the other way?
