Stairs-Can you get both stringers and monolithic-smooth-winder?

I would like to finish the bottom of my stair with the look of a monolithic stair with the underside of the winder "smooth" and have stringers as well. Too much to ask for Revit 2009?

You can select your stair as it is > Copy (CTRL C) > Edit > Paste Aligned > Same place > Stair properties > Edit/New > Duplicate > Give it a new name > Switch to Monolithic.

Doing this, you have two stairs on top of each other, but the second one, resulting from a copy, is a monolithic stair with the underside smooth. I hope it makes sense.

The other way you can do this is change your stair to a monolithic stair and adding your stringer to the railing family as a bottom rail. This also give you the ability to specify any profile you want, etc.
