I have a need to set TrueView as the default application on a hand full of machines in my office. I can set it easy enough in windows explorer but am unable to get rid of that annoying dialog box that pops up when you open AutoCAD after the settings are applied.

Dialogue: Would you like to set AutoCAD as the default application for DWG. Blah.Blah. Blah...

Any one aware of a systems variable, options setting, or VBA script, to get rid of this on start up of AutoCAD? I tried un-checking/Checking the appropriate boxes and saving out the profile then importing it to see if that holds with no luck.
I am unable to change the registry. IT has us pretty locked down here.

You have TrueView on these machines. Is there a need to have ACAD on these as well? Can you uninstall ACAD from these machines?

From Windows Explorer, right-click on a dwg file and change the properties.

Yes... I need both apps on these machines. The reason being is that these are officers who usually just review drawings all day, but every now and than they make changes or desgin sketches. In an effort to reduce the number of users sucking up my network licenses we put DWG TrueView on all of these machines.
