Add draftin view to sheet

any suggestions to best practices to add drafting views to sheets in place of a section or call out view. You have to put the section on the sheet to coordinate the callout on the plan, all help info says duplicate the section/callout view, go to original and turn everything off and drag the empty one to the sheet. Anyone had better less manual success with another process?

Yes. Create your drafting view and add it to the sheet. Then when creating the section or call out, check the option "Reference to other view" (in the options bar) and then select the drafting view you just created. Actually, you can even create you drafting view at the moment you create the section or call out by selecting the "reference other view"and picking the option New Drafting view, if that's easier for you...
