I have created a floor slab that slopes to a central trench drain. The surface pattern (sand) does not show up on the sloped sections in the floor plan view. The pattern only shows up when my model graphics style is set to wire frame not hidden line. Is this a revit thing, or is there a way to get the surface pattern to show on the sloped surfaces? Also, I am not seeing my valley lines in the floor slab. The valley lines also only show when my model graphics style is set to wire frame not hidden line.

For the lines not showing, try going to visibility graphics overrides and check if interior edges for floors is ON.

Everything is turned on.

The only thing I can come up with is that floor doesn't slope enough to show the valley lines. There is only a 1 1/4" elevation change. That still doesn't explain my issues with the surface pattern.

Can you copy that floor into a blank file and post it here?

I did that and the lines and surface patterns showed up. So I checked the view range. I guess my view range was set too low.
