Ok, I want to grade in a ditch but when i use the grading tools and do a offset it puts in a radius corner..i would like a mitered edge. how can i do this....there are some work-arounds but my ????? is does the grading tool have a control of sorts that allow the corners to have different edges (radiius,mitered,chamfer)...thanks
This has also come up in the Autodesk DGs:

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like anyone came up with an ideal solution, although you might try Niel's idea of breaking your grading object at the corner, then using an additional feature line to create the corner.

I would have done it as a corridor and then delete the fillet regions... or you can just target the subassemblies to find your top edge feature lines.

I also use corridors to create my ditches, I find it easier and more predictable using this method.
