I am trying to take a field linking back to the detailed information in the Project Properties and leave it blank. The field list the Progress Set completed (i.e. 50%, 90%) and is automatically updated through the Project Data. When the project goes out to bid, we remove this progress set info. I would like to just leave it blank instead of having to manually change it or erase it in over a 100 sheets. When I use the ALT 1060, I get a $ (when did this change by the way?), and when I use CTRL + ALT + SPACE, it empties the field in the Project Data but I still get the "----" on the sheet. Anyone know of a work around.

I have this field set up in our sheet template. It is nice to have it there, but it may be better off set up as a block/ xref (arghhh!!!) that is brought in separately.

By the way, I am using ACA 2009.

The old code is ALT+0160 (you wrote ALT+1060).

But in my 2009, a regular old space character works.
Confirmed here: http://blog.jtbworld.com/2005/01/autocad-sheet-set-manager-properties.html (Except that I do get the gray background for the space)

I have tried everything, but I still have to go into each drawing to either erase the text or or manually input a space. The Project Data within the Project Properties allows just a space, but I still end up with the ----.

Maybe there is something different about ACA. Have you tried that forum or the Autodesk ACA newsgroup?

This will work on Sheet Set I guess. Add it on the Custom Sheet Set Properties. Then, you can just edit it on the Sheet Set Custom Properties.
