Double ellipse mass

Hi

I tried to model a double ellipse mass, ellipse in plan and in elevation, but so ffar the only way I got to the shape I need is by subdivding the shape and then when trasnformig into a curtain wall, the the top gives me an irregular form that doesn't match the rest. Any suggestion how to do this and make the top join the rest of the shape?
