I want to make a dynamic block that I can change the length of the part (table top) with an arc on one side. No problem there, now I want to insert the length of the arc into a table and add it to the three other sides of the block, however once it's a block I can't insert the length of the line! or can I? I know nothing about LISP so that won't be an option at this time. I do have an Excel sheet that will figure it out if I have the chord length and the heigth of the arc but that formula won't work in a table in Autocad and I don't want to link it to Excel.

Thanks in advance.

Rong

Nope, you can only obtain the DB's parameters. So if you can get your Excel formula to work inside a Field formula it may be possible to calculate the arc length from these - unfortunately Field formulas are more like grade school math than Excel formulas, so it's probably not possible.
