dynamic blocks in tables ??

Hi Folks,
I do mostly cabinet & millwork drafting so I need a list of hardware from time to time. Instead of a different block/xref for each different hardware combination, could I use a Table with a "pick list" in the form of a dynamic block of mtext using the visibility parameter?

Unfortunately tables don't allow dynamic blocks.What I've ended up doing is to set the DB's properties, then create a secondary block from that, then insert that block into the table.

Otherwise, just stretch the table field large enough & place the DB manually over that position. Unfortunately then the block won't move if you add a line before it though :banghead:
