I was just trying to modify my network deployment for Revit 2009 to include the current service pack. There is an option in the network deployment configuration that allows to to attched a service pack to the deployment. But this option requires that the service pack be a MSP file type. The actualy srvice pack is an EXE. Is there anyway to convert the EXE file to an MSP file?

Yes exe to msp is easy, just make sure you provide the exact name for both the exe and the msp that you are going to make. I usually copy the exe to a folder right off the C drive: (C:\Patch) I then provide the full name for both the exe and msp

This is from the Read Me for most patches on Autodesk.com:

On the Start menu (Windows), click Run. Enter the following information, and then click OK.
<local drive>:\<patch name> /e <local drive>:\<patch name.msp>

So mine would read c:\patch\autocadSP1.exe /e c:\patch\autocadSP1.msp

Good luck
Dan

PS: this will not work for WU2 for the 2009 Revits per the "Read Me" on Autodesk's site.
