I have linked in an architectural Revit model into an MEP Revit Model and the MEP Model is moving at snail speed.

It wants to regen no matter what I do. Each pan, each small middle button wheel spin to zoom in or out, it wants to regen and hangs up for about a minute or more.

What can be causing this and how can I stop it? Is there away to turn of the regen option?

I’m not sure, but I can make some suggestions to test:

Turn off volume computations via Settings > Area and Volume Computations > Areas Only (faster)
Work in Coarse Detail and Wireframe view as much as possible
Toggle your OpenGL Hardware Acceleration option via Settings > Options > GraphicsHope this helps
