Need some advise
I am linking in architectural files into an MEP file.
I am reading the book but it only gives me a definition of each option but I don't understand which is the best option for me to use.
When linking should I use:
Center-to-center
Origin-to-Origin
By Shared Coordinates
(this is the one I am thinking is for me but not sure how to use it)
Should I aquire coordinates from the Arch model into my MEP model?
Should I publish coordinates from the Arch model or..
Specify Coordinates at a Point?
And once this is all said and done, do I still need to move the level 1 of the main model (my MEP model) to match the elevation of level 1 of the linked model (My Arch model)? Or will they some how magicaly know and both levels will be in the same place so I don't have to go to elevation view to match my levels? Or is matching levels a normal thing that is required no matter which option I choose?
Thanks
