storefront not cutting adjacent angled wall

I'm getting this behavior (see attached).
I noticed a fixed window family doesn't have that problem, but I'm not sure why storefront is. Any ideas?

Because storefronts are actually walls and therefore are trying to join as walls. Try using the Edit Walls Joins tool to switch the join and see if it will fit your needs.

You might also need to do a couple profile edits on the adjacent walls to help clean this up.
