Detail component label

I trying to create a lintel detail component with different sizes. So far I have the lintel (solid fill pattern) and create the diffenet sizes inside the family, but I would like to put a label in the family, so at the moment I insert the detail component the label displays the lintel size.

Is this possible?

I'm not sure what you mean by a label. You cannot create a tag for detail components. IF you mean something that is in the family, you'll have to create a parameter, and place a label in the family to read that. This will always appear, cannot be assigned a sub-catagory, so it is all or nothing on turning them off, etc. Personally, I would not recommend it.
