Limiting the Titleblock Revision Lines?

Currently our standard revision block has 10 spaces.
On rare occasions, we have had more revisions than than spaces.

Is there a way to constrain/filter the revision schedule info to "X" spaces and automatically "bump" the older rev dates while still retaining the sheet's issue history?

I didn't know this until checking it just now but the number of revisions in the schedule will be limited to the number of lines in the schedule as placed on the sheet. i.e. if your titleblock family has 10 slots on the schedule then only 10 revisions will be available for display. Revit will automatically bump the earliest revision off the list and display the latest.
The revision history is maintained in the database but not displayed.

OK... I found what was causing the issue.
Our Standard has the height selected as "Variable".

I changed it to "User Defined"... now it works.
