I am in furniture line, As there is quite a lot of sub assembly(Parts with hardware) needed in a complete model assembly, thus is there anyway to expand the sub assembly automatically in the part list without need to click on the "+" sign everytime we do a B.O.M as I didn't find any in the help nor function there.
Thanks and regards.

Yes, there is as a matter of fact but it involves creating the Assembly as a Phantom or Reference Occurrence instead of a normal Assembly. What this does is it promotes the parts in the assembly up a level to the next hierarchy which is what you would want if the assembly is indeed that; a reference. If the Assembly actually carries it's own needed documentation then a separate sheet or a separate idw is usually needed anyway and that is why the plus sign has to be picked each time to override it in the current idw. Might be worth the effort to submit something like "Toggle in the Drawing Application Options or Parts List Style to automatically expanded Structured BOM information" to gauge others responses.

Have you tried inserting the BOM using the 'Structured (Legacy)' setting?

It's on the part list dialog box, and I'm pretty sure that will do it.

I'm not in front of my Inventor computer right now, so I can't test it to be totally sure, but if my memory serves (always a bit of a gamble  ) I think that will get what you're after
