I know there has been much discussion in this forum about the lack of interoperability between Bentley Architecture and Revit via the IFC file format. I came across this new Revit plug-in developed by Bentley to address this issue and was wondering if anyone has tried it. It says it will be officially released with the "Athens" release of BA, which I think happened a couple of weeks ago.
It appears to work by exporting two files from Revit, a DGN and an IFC, then intelligently combining elements from each into the Bentley architecture file.
If it works well enough, I know that my firm will buy a seat just so that we can better deal with COE projects that require BA deliverables.
