Has anyone used Vue 6 or 7 with 3dsMaxDesign 2009?
Looks exteremely powerful. Just wondering about workflow?
It is Mental Ray compatible, runs inside Max, etc.
Any feedback appreciated.
Cheers.....

Hello. I'm new to the forum, but not 3d apps. We use Vue 6 with Max here at work. I use it with Maya at home. Either way its an awesome program. You have to purchase extra packages to get all the really cool extras, but it comes stock with a lot of good stuff. Its really similar to the terrain editor in the Unreal Engine, but way cooler. The only complaint I have is that it is a stand alone app. so you have to import and export all the time. Vue 7 takes care of that though. Its built right in to the 3d app. Every other day I make the suggestion to the higher ups to get it.

The only reason our group hasn't jumped on it is due to us being a VRay shop. We have occasional MR project, but most of our library assets are in VRay. From what I've seen and heard though, Vue 7 rocks!
