Can't Paste Aligned

PROBLEM 1:
You want to paste aligned "current view" or "same place" but the options are greyed out. See attached.

PROBLEM 2:
You can Paste from Clipboard but you are having trouble pasting in exactly the same place. See attached.

SOLUTION:
Here is the trick... When using Paste from Clipboard, manually type in 0" ENTER (instead of the 4'-6" shown attached) and the object will land at the origin you were shooting for.

Good tip David! I use it all the time, almost more than the paste-aligned option, as you don't need to access any menus to do so. However there are some times where the dimension doesn't show up...quite irritable :shock:

I have one problem with aligned dimension in my floor plan.I made aligned dimension at floor plan and now I want to copy them to first floor because 80% of these dimension is the same but it doesnt work.There is always a message error that I cant copy aligned dimension.I tried what DDuarte said but it didnt work.Thank you indvance for your help...
