I have created a Site Plan as a single file with the Building as a Linked file.
And I have read thru the "Linking Building Models and Sharing Coordinates" tutorials.
But I cant seem to find the way to share the coordinates of the site plan and link it back to the building. I need to link the toposurface only so that when I do my building sections. The earth is properly shown. Is this possible? Link the Site plan to the building when that building is linked to the site plan?

p.s. I sleep every other 3 days only, my apology if I'm a bit slow now undestanding your reply.

Sounds like you've missed a step in the tutorial then.

Once the building is linked and positioned in the site file correctly, select the Tools menu > Shared Coordinates > Publish Coordinates. Revit will ask you to select a linked project to publish the coordinates to. Pick your building. Now save your project, Revit will ask you to Save the changes to the building project file. Do so. Shared coordinates are now set.

You can now close the site file and open the building to link the site into it, using Auto - by Shared Coordinates. You can make your sections here, in the building file...or in the site file with the building linked in...either way, your choice. To alter the site, to add a building pad for example you'll still need to edit the site project file...naturally.

This sleepless night is taking its toll. Thanks Steve, I will try it out.
Oh, this is my first all Revit work. So I'm still learning. Thanks again.

Thanks again Steve. The step are sooo simple. (Duh... to me) Now my team members are happy. There buildings are no longer floating.
