raysat - automatically launching at startup

I have both Viz2008 and 3ds MAX 2009 installed on my system and I notice the following processes start automatically at start-up. Is this normal? Is there a way I can stop it from launching automatically?

raysat_3dsMax2009_32server.exe
raysat_VIZ2008_32server.exe

I'm running a WindowsXP system

When you install Max ( or Viz, I suppose) it automatically installs the raysat for Backburner.

It does run in processes by default. It should not cause any problems or use up valuable resources, as it is not running when Backburner/Max are not in use.

You can probably disable it in your Windows config/ini files.

I would leave it running....its not really worth the hassle for what little resources its taking up!
