Pocket beam family

Hi,

I modify a existing beam family to represent a pocket wall plate in plan. I just want to know is if possible to this element to be adjusted automatic when the beam in pocket in to the wall representation.

the end of the line is lock already, my problems is with the line on the face of the wall. When the wall change from 6" to 10" I want this line to be adjusted with the wall. Any idea

Try selecting the beam > Right Click on the circle at the end of the family where the beam meets the wall > Edit Beam Join...I'm not 100% sure I know what you want...

I know that trick and is very useful, but what we need is to have a box representation at the end of the beam inside the wall and box should be auto adjusted the size with the deferent walls to represent just 6" beam pocket.
