We have been creating multiple sections of a Revit model for detailing purposes. All these section have been placed on one layout view , however they appear on all other duplicate views of this layout. The issue we are having is that we have created a tag for the section to reference back to the sheet that the section was taken from, unfortunately this means that Revit has a choice of sheets to reference as multiple views have this section mark in them and each has been placed on its own sheet. Is there a way to select or control the sheet that Revit chooses to reference?

You will have to hide the section marks in the views you don't want the tag to reference to. Go to the views, select the sections and press EH (this is the shortcut to hide elements from the view). Just leave the sections showing in the view you want. Then in the sheets, if the sections are still referencing the view you don't want, just remove the plan view that the sections are referencing from the sheet and add it again. The sections will look for the plan view that actually has the section marks showing.
