edit door family

I have this overhead rolling door, (see attachment), I need to use on a 10' high wall with a 9' opening ht. The problem I'm having is that the box that the door rolls into is 1' 6" high which makes it stick up above the top of wall 6". I can't figure out how to create a new family from this one and shrink the box to 1'0". New to Revit and looking forward to AU to learn more. Can someone guide me through this.

Here is the revised family.

To change it, you need to unlock the upper reference plane. (Click the lock on the dimension). Move the reference plane down 6-inches and then re-lock the dimension.

Of course, that's only how you modify the family. You need to confirm that the hood on the real life door is only 12-inches in height. Many of the stock Revit families need to be modified slightly to conform to the products of a particular manufacturer.
