I have some hour rated hatch patterns that were brought over from ACAD into Revit. They look and work beautifully.
When the floor plan is exported back to ACAD the patterns all become a seperate hatch pattern name and some of them change in their look. The horizontal one all look great but any vertical ones are not the same.
They are set to a Drafting pattern and set to Align with element as a custom pattern.
Any ideas?

Revit can only export cut patterns as Drafting patterns, period. When you imported the patterns into Revit, were they set to follow the element's orientation? Also, were they built into the wall styles, or applied as a view filter?

They were set to follow the element's orientation adn they were built into the wall style.
