Hello everyone,

I´ve spent allmost this entire week trying to find a way for fillet or smoth an edge between two surfaces in 3DS without any result. I can do the model in Autocad, where I can use the fillet command, but still I want to model in 3DS. Can anyone help me?

TIA

Eric

I try to model fillets while I'm building the object, but if I need to do it after the fact and am not too concerned with detail, I just add multiple chamfers to the edge I want to fillet.

HTH!

That's been a pet peave of mine for a while. Couple questions:

How is the object being created? Is it a primative base or did it start with a spline? That's what Philip was getting at.
What is the object now? Has an edit poly or edit mesh been added to the stack? There is the ability to chamfer edges in edit poly mode. Doubling a chamfer and adding a smooth modifier. It's a hack, but works.
